Thanks to Tony Quinn for headsup and Whats ap messages from Mark Davis and Shaun Ferguson, I easily located the local Nightingale. Took 30 seconds of video with audio. Bird not seen but wonderfully heard. |

Seen from Raeburn Ave, around 2pm flying towards Tolworth Tower from the N side. It was clearly hunting. It glided over the tower, then landed on an upper ledge on the left. It took off again after a minute and glided again, briefly stooping, before landing again on the left side of the roof. It again took over after a couple of minutes and landed on a ledge around half way down on the left of the tower (viewed from Raeburn Ave) before flying off again. |
